Sancerre wines are characterized by their elegance and an aromatic, polished style, which is exactly what the J. de Villebois Sancerre Rouge AOP has to offer. On the river valley floors consisting of clay, pebbles and flints, the grapes develop a fragrant fullness and mineral finesse that is second to none.

This award-winning, multi-layered Sancerre Rouge successfully brings all of this into the bottle: A bouquet with the scent of cherries, red berries and cassis, with subtle notes of spice. On the palate, the wine is powerful and supple, smooth, balanced and steady with silky tannins. A small portion of this Pinot matured in wood, the larger part in stainless steel tanks in order to maintain the aromatic freshness.
