Imagine the following: It is a pleasant 25 ° C on the beach promenade. The sun is slowly sinking towards the horizon. Seductive smells waft from the alleys: black olives, baked artichoke hearts, pickled anchovies, fresh bread, Serrano ham ...
As the sun goes down, you choose one of the tapas bars. The waiter brings a platter with all kinds of delicacies and an unknown drink. You will immediately notice how the drink perfectly complements the meal. The ham is coated with honey-like sweetness, the olives with the aroma of fresh lemon peel. Quartered figs go extremely well with the bitter notes. The anchovies are perfected by the spicyness. The name of this Mediterranean classic? Vermouth or, in Spanish, Vermut, in our scenario its the Muntaner Vermut Blanco from Mallorca.
The only native Vermouth from the Spanish Mediterranean island is made from the local grape variety Prensal and more than 12 different botanicals. It combines sweetish fruit and spice notes with lively citrus freshness, tart herbal notes and a dry vibrancy, riquísimo!
