The name of this wine is drawn from the dialectic expression "Favogno", another name for the hot and dry wind that comes from the south which helps the growth and, later on, the maturation of the grape. This wind is well known all over the world, but it changes its name according to the place through which it blows. Both have distinctive characteristics and are most welcome in viticultural areas!
