A classic, Piedmontese red wine that is drunk by the locals on every occasion. The Bersano Costalunga Barbera d'Asti is suitable as an accompaniment to antipasti, pasta, game dishes and cheese.

At first, the Costalunga Barbera d'Asti shines in a deep, ruby-red colour, which is interspersed with violet nuances. Its full-bodied bouquet smells savoury of red berries, oriental spices, damp tobacco and eucalyptus. On the palate, sour cherry settles in as the dominant aroma. The taste is clean and somewhat tart. The full-bodiedness of Bersano's Barbera d'Asti extends into a long finish.

The varietal red wine was matured in Slavonian oak. There it matured for up to 10 months. This makes it fresh and warm at the same time.
