The Vik La Piu Belle is the latest wine creation from Vik! An extremely well-structured and wonderfully harmonious drop of pleasure that impresses with its intense scent of wildflowers, blackberries, raspberries, currants, fine spices and subtle oak notes. In the mouth it shows a persistent grace, compact fruitiness and smooth tannins that create a nice balance and perfectly round off the aromatic spectrum, followed by a never-ending finish.
Incredibly silky smooth and harmonious drinking fun with personality - chance of becoming a repeat offender!
And the label - a homage to art, wine as art or art in wine! Designed by the Chilean artist Gonzalo Cinefuegos. The female portrait stands for the transience and short life of beauty. Surrealists such as René Magritte served as models.
The philosophy of Alex and Carrie Vik is based on holism - only a system works as a whole if you understand and take into account the interaction of all individual parts - and that is exactly what Alexander Vik's wines embody. The head behind the vinification is Patrick Valette, born in Chilean and trained oenologist in Bordeaux, who, together with his experienced team, creates the 'tricks' of Vik.
