Colour: A bright cherry-red colouration.

Nose: Fresh flavours of morello cherries and a touch of liquorice.

Taste: Soft and juicy on the palate, tasting of blackcurrants and blackberries with a hint of spices. A strong, but well-balanced, structure with soft tannins.

The grapes for this Vin de Pays d´Oc wine are grown at the Limoux vineyards near Carcasonne and have been selected very carefully from the winemakers of the Baron Philippe de Rothschild winery. All the contractual partners who have taken part in the winemaking process have been closely connected to the house of Baron Philippe de Rothschild for many years. The temperature-controlled (25-30°) alcoholic fermentation took around 6 days and the maceration that followed took 15 days. Ripening and malolactic fermentation was subsequently completed in stainless steel tanks.
