The Krohn Tawny Port was pressed from the Douro region's traditional vines for red Ports - Touriga Nacional, Touriga francesa, Tinta Barroca and Tinta Roriz.

Scents of a handful of currants and sweet spices dominate in the glass. Lots of fruit on the palate, accompanied by spicy and nutty notes, leading to a wonderfully balanced finish. Superbly balanced, complex and finesse-rich drinking pleasure.

A nice aperitif when slightly chilled, but also a pleasure with cheese, roasted nuts and melon with ham.
