Description
Strong red/purple colour. Fresh red fruits on the nose with a hint of dark cherry. Slightly spicy with a touch of grey pepper, liquorice and a touch of rose flower. The whole wine is very well balanced with a nice acidity and the tannins present on the finish invites food pairing with terrines, charcuteries, grilled red meat, white fish, cheese or simply as the sole wine of a meal. The terroir is mainly composed of granite. Amongst the 55,000 acres (22,000 hectares) of vineyards planted in the Beaujolais region, about 15,000 acres (6,000 hectares) are under the name Beaujolais Villages « Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée » which ranks between the Beaujolais Appellation and the Crus appellation (there are 10 crus).

schmeckt ganz gut...
und wohl auch ein guter Wein. Beaujolais jedoch nicht so meins, etwas dünn und zu viel Frucht nach Erd- und Himbeeren. Vergleichbar mit einem Vernatsch oder gar einem kräftigen Rose.
