The Manincor Mason Pinot Noir comes from a high plateau 400 metres above sea level. The south-facing slope and constant wind provide ideal conditions for the dense grapes of Pinot Noir.
This award-winning South Tyrolean wine flows into the glass in a sparkling ruby red. In addition to the typical fruit aromas, such as sour cherry and cassis, the nose is mainly characterised by herbaceous notes. Lovage, chervil and mint are accompanied by pepper and cinnamon notes. The whole is topped by a hint of wood smoke. In the mouth, it shows its fresh side, the sour cherry is very concise and makes the wine seem very fresh and animating.
As a food companion, it is excellent with all kinds of vegetarian or vegan dishes, for example ox heart tomatoes stuffed with couscous and herbs, but it also goes excellently with fish dishes, especially recommended is turbot fillet in red wine sauce.
