Description
This red wine is a cuvee in two ways: when dry, it contains grapes from the three grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, which also grow on different stone soils. It is precisely these different stone floors that are responsible for the personality of the wine - because as close as the plots may be, the more typical the soil substance is.
With its firm tannins and velvety soft elegance, the Markus Schneider Steinsatz Rotwein Cuvee impresses and is something of the flagship of the winery. In deep dark cherry red, this cuvée flows into the glass, revealing many plums, sour cherries, herbaceous spices, roasted aromas and some sandalwood. An extremely refined drop.
