Caves Messias port is produced at Quinta do Cachão in Cima Corgo, in the most rugged and inaccessible part of the Douro region. At Quinta do Cachão, they are proud that half of the vineyard's plots belong to the highest classification level of the Douro, "A". This Messias Vinho Do Porto 10 anos is a blend of different vintages of red grapes. It is bottled after at least two years of storage in large barrels, some of which have a capacity of over twenty thousand litres. Due to the large volume of the oak barrels, 10 anos ports are wines that breathe little and therefore oxidise slowly. This means that they retain their dark colour longer and are characterised by a fruity taste.
