Description
Silky like velvet, a deepred wine of high quality and fruity smell. Fantastic aroma which reminds me of blackcurrant and blackberry. A voluminous structure, curiously soft, but quiescent in itself.
The variety called Regent was created by a science center for wine in Rheinland-Pfalz during 1967. Regent was certificated for the wine-growing areas in this region. In 1995 they put it on the official list. The maturity of its berry is medium early.
