Originally, the grape variety Dolcetto comes from France, but has been cultivated predominantly in the Italian Piedmont for many years. "Dolcetto" translates from Italian into German as "the little sweetness" and yields intense red wines that often show a purple fringe.

The bouquet of this medium-bodied red Pio Cesare Dolcetto d'Alba DOC shows, above all, abundant lively freshness, aromas of red fruit jelly, cherry juice, raspberries and refined spice. All the wonderful berry fruits are also very present on the palate, almost mirroring the nose.
