Description
complex & elegant
The Californian winery is in the hands of the Perrin and Haas families. The wines are very special due to their cultivation methods and the imported vines from the Rhône - Californian wines in the Rhône style!
The Tablas Creek Vineyard Esprit de Tablas is a cuvée of four grape varieties. You can taste the spice of the Mourvèdre, the accessibility of the Grenache, the aromatic tannin of the Syrah and the blackberry fruit of the Counoise.
The bouquet is dominated by liquorice aromas and spicy notes of coloured pepper and a hint of fresh mint. On the palate, the multi-layered cuvée is wonderfully juicy with hints of dark chocolate. An intense tannin and a smoky berry element enhance the pleasure even more. The finale is captivating with excellent concentration and aromas of chocolate-covered cherries that you simply can't resist!

Winery | Tablas Creek Vineyard

Tablas Creek is a pioneer of California’s Rhone movement. In 1989 Robert Haas, Jean-Pierre Perrin and François Perrin founded Tablas Creek Vineyard on the Californian Mediterranean coast, which shows similarities with the southern Rhône valley. It is the culmination of a friendship between two of the international wine community’s leading families: the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel and the Haas family of Vineyard Brands.
